Review: Ocean's Twelve (2004)
Ocean's Twelve sees the gang getting back together for another couple of jobs to pay off the vindictive casino owner they stole from in Ocean's Eleven. Smart, funny & with a few twists, I had a damn good time seeing this movie (it works very well as a recovery flick).
The original cast is back, some with more prominent parts, some with less. The additions to this cast include Catherine Zeta Jones as a EuroPol art theft detective and Vincent Cassel as a rival thief. I won't go into all of the cameos, but I will mention comedian Eddie Izzard pops up at one point and he's damn funny.
Fans of the first film will probably head along to the cinema to see this sequel. A word of warning, however, if you haven't seen the first you'd better go & rent it, as the second won't make a whole lot of sense if you don't.
Ocean's Twelve
Rated: M
Running Time: 120 min
Seen: Greater Union, Civic, ACT, 12 Dec 04, 1.30pm session.
