What's a family of nomadic shepherds to do when a mother camel won't bond with her newborn colt? If she won't let him feed, what chance will he have in the desert?

In The Story of the Weeping Camel, a family tries several options before sending their sons - Ugna and Dude - on a cross-country camel-back journey to get a musician to come and perform a bonding ritual.

See it; it will make you smile. It's a pleasure to watch and a nicer on-screen family would be difficult to find. Take the kids too; they won't need to be able to read the (few) subtitles to understand what's going on.
