Aussie SFX Company Commissioned on Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire

An Adelaide visual effects company - Rising Sun Pictures - received quite a bit of media attention down-under this week because it announced that it has just been commissioned to work on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which is due for release 18 Nov 2005. They should have plenty to keep them occupied; HP4 features an inter-wizardry-school competition and the return of Lord Voldemort to corporeal form that'll probably require a lot of effects shots.

Interestingly being so far away from Hollywood doesn't seem to have disadvantaged the company. Working on Paycheck, the hemispheric time difference meant that the company could get feedback & work on shots while the folks topside slept and have the new versions ready by the American morning.
